The Story of an Employee

Working in an IT-based company for three years, I have seen how important the internet is for daily living. I have received calls from customers whose main source of income are home-based business, and there are others who are working and at the same time, are trying to get their college degrees online. During the wake of Katrina, some of my customers were pleading for me to help them get information on the internet as to the location of their families. Truly, the conveniences of this modern has been made and enhanced by the presence of computers and undoubtedly, the internet.
As a student, I’ve always relied on the internet for the latest information on the different topics I write about in my term papers. When I need to know more about any topic, my greatest tool is Google and most cases, I get more information than I can process. When I need to find statistics on about my chosen topic, I search the web, and I get amazing results.
I do not have a background with IT, in fact the only thing I knew how to use was Microsoft Office. Everything else was a mystery to me. So when I started working, I was one of the few people who needed to be tutored on how to connect to the internet and other such things. Imagine when I got my first call about an iMac. I was really wondering what the heck my customer was talking about. Thank goodness there are a lot of MAC related articles that can be found from the internet.
I have left my previous job and I am now working as a freelance writer but I cannot forget the many customer service information I found from the web. Truly, there are some articles that changes your life.
